Senior Manager/Supervisor
Planet 13 is searching for a hands-on Director of Marketing to lead our Las Vegas market while supporting wholesale and brand marketing for our in-house portfolio (e.g., Medizin, Trendi, Dreamland, HaHa, Leaf & Vine). You’ll own the integrated marketing plan for the Planet 13 Las Vegas Superstore and all Nevada retail, partner with Sales on trade/wholesale programs, and collaborate with the national team to launch and scale brand initiatives. This is an execution-minded leadership role for a builder who loves data, creative, and speed.

Supervisory Responsibilities
Manages a total of 3+ employees in the Marketing Departments. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; and addressing complaints and resolving problems.

Education and/or Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field required; Master’s degree preferred. At least five years or experience in marketing and long-range planning required.

Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community. Ability to write speeches and articles for publication that conform to prescribed style and format. Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Lead Las Vegas market marketing: Build and run the integrated calendar (paid media, CRM/email/SMS, social, content, web, in-store merchandising, events) to drive traffic, conversion, and loyalty.
- Own brand and product marketing in Nevada: Plan go-to-market for new drops, campaigns, and seasonal programs; oversee creative briefs, timelines, assets, and cross-functional readiness.
- Drive wholesale & trade marketing: Partner with Sales to develop sell-in toolkits (sell sheets, brand decks), B2B email, budtender education, menus/POP, and trade events; measure account activation and velocity.
- Champion a test-and-learn culture: Stand up A/B tests across channels; analyze performance and ROI; scale winners quickly.
- Manage budget and partners: Forecast, allocate, and optimize spend; brief and direct agencies, freelancers, and creators.
- Ensure regulatory compliance: Deliver accurate, compliant marketing across all Nevada channels in partnership with Legal/Compliance.
- Lead a small, high-performing team: Set goals, coach for impact, and recruit as needs grow.
- Support product launches from concept to execution, collaborating with cross-functional teams to align on timelines and ensure regional readiness.
- Oversee communications and PR efforts at the regional level, highlighting brand and social responsibility initiatives to boost local media impressions and community relevance.
- Comply with all HR policies including confidentiality and non-disclosure.
- Assist with the implementation of company policies, standard operating procedures, and performance standards.
