Summary
Assist with daily retail store operations and empowers team by providing clear direction and ongoing coaching and support. Manage other store personnel as assigned by General Manager.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Help with daily operations, and opening and closing procedures per hours of operation.
- Adhere to all policies, process, procedures, and roles per employee contract.
- Maintain a clean, sanitary and organized work environment.
- Must comply with HIPAA guidelines as put forth by Federal regulations.
- Work with senior management team to increase sales and traffic volumes.
- Comply with company cash handling polices.
- Empowers team by providing a clear direction and providing ongoing coaching and support.
- Maintains highest level of presentation, customer service, and compassion to all customers.
- Stays informed and knowledgeable about state and local laws, regulations and industry news.
- Maintain daily cleaning requirements including, sweeping, mopping, dusting of your work station, interior glass displays, employee restroom, and patient waiting areas. Keep displays clean, organized, and properly stocked.
- Daily compliance with MME policies including but not limited to; state/local regulation compliance, security protocols, access protocols, inventory tracking, dress code, and work schedules.
- Ensuring hourly sales numbers and customer counts are send hourly via text messaging sales group. Comply with all HR policies including confidentiality and non-disclosure.
- Review and delegate job responsibilities to direct reports, ex; operations, facilities, cleaning and etc.
- Manage receptionist and other store personnel as assigned by General Manager.
- Participate in weekly management meetings.
- Communicate any work issues related to the store to the General Manager, ex; customer complaints, employee work issues, safety concerns, product shortage, and etc.
- Responsible for onboarding and training new hires.
- May assist in the hiring process by participating in interview process.
Supervisory Responsibilities Directly supervises 10 to 30+ employees in the Sales and Customer Service Departments. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

Education and/or Experience Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Language Skills Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
Mathematical Skills Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
Reasoning Ability Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables.
