Summary
The Inventory Specialist supports the essential functions of the Medizin Inventory Department, ensuring compliance with Nevada state regulations and Medizin operational standards. This role is responsible for receiving and verifying incoming products, accurately entering data into inventory systems, preparing products for the sales floor, and participating in ongoing audit processes.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Receive and verify incoming product deliveries to ensure all state compliance requirements are satisfied.
- Enter laboratory results and all information required under NCCR 1-14 regulations into the inventory management software system.
- Accept deliveries in METRC and always maintain accuracy and alignment between METRC and the POS system.
- Prepare products for placement on the sales floor and backstock, including labeling bins.
- Creating displays for new products.
- Stock the sales floor with appropriate products and set up displays in accordance with established Medizin procedures.
- Collaborate with management to investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies promptly.
- Participate in weekly, monthly, and quarterly inventory audits.
- Comply with all inventory control policies and procedures as set forth by Medizin and Nevada state regulations.
- Comply with all HR policies including confidentiality and non-disclosure.
- Assist with the implementation of company policies, standard operating procedures, and performance
- standards.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Daily compliance with Company policies including but not limited to; state/local regulation compliance, security protocols, access protocols, dress code, and work schedules.
- Analytical Thinking — Collects, organizes, and interprets data accurately.
- Attention to Detail — Demonstrates thoroughness and accuracy in all tasks; monitors own work for quality.

Education and/or Experience
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Language Skills
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
Mathematical Skills
Ability to add and subtract two digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's. Ability to perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurement, volume, and distance.
Reasoning Ability
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
Computer Skills
To perform this job successfully, an individual should be proficient in basic computer skills.

To perform this job successfully, an individual should be proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and industry-specific software.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations
Must be 21 years of age or older.
NV State Agent Card Required.
OSHA 10 Required (company paid) to be completed within 6 months of hiring.
