Warehouse Specialist
Summary
The Warehouse Specialist is responsible for the full cycle of warehouse operations. Receiving, putaway, picking, delivering materials across internal departments and cultivation sites. Responsible for keeping the warehouse area organized and clean. This role ensures accurate processing of order requests, shipments, safe equipment operation, and organized inventory flow throughout the warehouse.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
• Receive all incoming shipments and verify accuracy against Purchase Orders
• Unload delivery trucks safely and perform quality checks (QC) on all received materials
• Process inbound and outbound transactions using the Warehouse Management System
• Put-away inventory to assigned bin or pallet locations, ensuring accurate system updates
• Ensure proper stock rotation (FIFO/FEFO) to prevent expired or outdated items
• Pick orders from WMS order queue and prepare items for delivery to internal and external locations
• Load trucks and complete scheduled deliveries to cultivation sites, following assigned routes for accurate
and timely delivery
• Ensure all documentation is complete and correct (Invoice, Packing Slip, BOL, etc)
• Unload materials at each site and deliver to designated areas, securing confirmations or signatures when required
• Operate powered industrial trucks safely and efficiently such as electric pallet jack, reach trucks, forklifts or order pickers
• Maintain warehouse cleanliness and organization, ensuring materials are labeled and accessible
• Assist with monthly cycle counts and spot counts to support inventory accuracy
• Report inventory discrepancies, damages, or equipment issues to management
• Work as an active team member to complete team goals.
• Break down all cardboard boxes received and put in the dumpster on a daily basis.
• Responsible for exhibiting professional behavior with both internal/external business associates that reflects positively on the company and is consistent with the company's policies and practices.
• Comply with all HR policies including confidentiality and non-disclosure. Assist with the implementation of company policies, standard operating procedures, and performance standards.
• Daily compliance with Company policies including but not limited to; state/local regulation compliance, security protocols, access protocols, dress code, and work schedules.
This job has no supervisory responsibilities.

Qualifications

Education and/or Experience High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Forklift certification preferred.
Language Skills Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules and regulations, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
Mathematical Skills Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret graphs. Reasoning Ability Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations. Computer Skills To perform this job successfully, an individual should be proficient in basic computer skills.
Certificates,Licenses, Registrations
Must be 21 years of age or older. Must possess a valid Nevada driver's license and clean driving history. NV State Agent Card Required. OSHA 10 Required (company paid) to be completed within 6 months of hiring.
