Harvest Specialist

We are currently looking for a Harvest Specialist to join our cultivation team here in St. Johns! The Harvest Specialist is responsible for executing the harvesting of mature cannabis plants with care and precision.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Harvest mature cannabis plants according to established timelines and protocols provided by Management.
- Carefully cut down full plants from flower rooms to minimize trichome loss and avoid damage to buds.
- Accurately label and track harvested batches, ensuring compliance with all state regulations and internal tracking systems such as Biotrack or METRC.
- Transport harvested plants to designated dry rooms, ensuring proper handling to maintain plant integrity and prevent contamination.
- Organize and hang plants in dry rooms according to strain, batch, and drying requirements, ensuring appropriate airflow and spacing.
- Assist in weighing, logging, and tagging plants and plant material at harvest in tracking systems such as Biotrack or METRC to maintain full compliance with state regulations.
- Maintain clean and sanitized tools and workstations throughout the harvest process.
- Follow all facility SOPs related to cleanliness, safety, and compliance.
- Identify and report any issues such as pest presence, mold, or inconsistencies in plant quality during harvest.
- Collaborate with trimming, drying, and packaging teams to support a smooth post-harvest workflow.
- Comply with all HR policies including confidentiality and non-disclosure.
- Assist with the implementation of company policies, standard operating procedures, and performance standards.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Daily compliance with company policies including but not limited to; state/local regulation compliance, security protocols, access protocols, dress code, and work schedules.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- At least 21 years or older
- Ability to pass drug testing and Level 2 Florida State background check
