We are currently looking for a Mother Plant Specialist to join our growing cultivation team! The goal of this role is to ensure healthy, consistent mother plants that support reliable clone production while maintaining strict compliance with company standards and state regulations.

Summary
The Mother Plant Specialist is responsible for the care, maintenance, and rotation of cannabis mother plants in Grow House 4 (GH4). This role involves planting, pruning, and removing mother plants as needed to support consistent propagation and ensure healthy clone production. The Mother Plant Specialist works closely with the cultivation team to maintain a clean, organized, and compliant grow environment.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Plant, label, and organize new mother plants according to cultivation schedules and genetic rotation plans.
  • Monitor the health and vigor of mother plants, ensuring they are properly fed, pest-free, and optimized for clone production.
  • Remove aged, diseased, or underperforming mother plants as directed and accurately document removals for compliance.
  • Prune and shape mother plants regularly to encourage lateral growth and increase viable clone sites.
  • Maintain clean and organized grow areas, including plant benches, irrigation systems, and surrounding workspaces in GH4.
  • Accurately track and update plant inventory using seed-to-sale systems such as METRC or BioTrack.
  • Monitor environmental conditions including temperature, humidity, and lighting; report deviations from set parameters.
  • Identify and report early signs of pests, disease, or nutrient deficiencies to Management.
  • Ensure consistent documentation of strain types, plant counts, and lifecycle updates in compliance with state regulations.
  • Support other cultivation departments as needed, including cloning, transplanting, and propagation-related tasks.
  • Assist with the implementation of company policies, SOPs, and performance standards.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment at all times.
  • Comply with all HR policies, including confidentiality and non-disclosure.
  • Maintain daily compliance with company policies, including state and local regulations, security protocols, access protocols, dress code, and work schedules.
Pay Rate: $14 per hour
