We are currently looking for an Extraction Manager to lead our production team! The Extraction Manager is responsible for overseeing the entire extraction and production process, ensuring efficiency, product quality, and compliance with all state and company regulations. This position manages daily extraction, processing, and packaging operations while leading and supporting a team to achieve production goals and maintain high operational standards. The Extraction Manager also plays a key role in optimizing manufacturing workflows, improving productivity, maintaining product consistency, enforcing safety and compliance procedures, and supporting the overall success of the production facility.

Pay Range: $75k - $80k

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
• Manage the production schedule and workflow for all extraction (solvent/solventless) SKUs across various 
product families and manufacturing methodologies.
• Oversee and manage hydrocarbon (BHO) extraction, solventless extraction, ethanol extraction, distillation, 
microwave-assisted terpene processing, and all post-processing workflows for concentrated cannabis 
products.
• Lead, train, and develop the Hydrocarbon Extraction Team and Solventless Extraction Team, ensuring 
consistent product quality, safe operations, and adherence to SOPs.
• Ensure proper execution of all solventless processes, including ice water hash washing, freeze-drying, 
micron separation, rosin pressing, curing, and final product finishing.
• Troubleshoot and resolve equipment, process, or product issues across multiple manufacturing 
environments and product families.
• Manage, schedule, and develop a high-performing team across manufacturing, regulatory compliance, and 
internal distribution operations.
• Budget for, procure, and validate new equipment, technology, and processing methodologies to increase 
efficiency and product consistency.
• Establish, monitor, and report on KPI performance targets related to quality, throughput, yield, labor 
efficiency, distribution readiness, and product cost control.
• Build and maintain relationships with key vendors and maintain equipment to support scaling and 
continuous improvement initiatives.
• Provide timely and accurate weekly production reporting and performance analytics for the executive and 
management teams.
• Identify and implement operational improvements to increase efficiency, reduce cost, eliminate waste, and 
optimize labor utilization.
• Ensure proactive upkeep, calibration, and preventive maintenance of all manufacturing and extraction 
equipment to ensure reliability and performance.
• Uphold HR, confidentiality, and non-disclosure policies and foster a culture of compliance, accountability, 
and safety.
• Assist in creating, implementing, and maintaining Company SOPs, quality standards, and performance 
expectations.
• Maintain a clean, organized, safe, and compliant production environment.
• Ensure daily compliance with all company, state, and local regulations, including access controls, safety 
protocols, security requirements, dress code, and regulatory documentation.

Supervisory Responsibilities:
Manages 2 subordinate supervisor who supervises a total of 10+ employees in the Production and Distribution
Departments. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and 
directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
Education and/or Experience:
Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or 
equivalent combination of education and experience.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:
Must be 21 years of age or older.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally exposed to heat. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly exposed to wet and/or humid conditions and heat.  The employee is sometimes exposed to moving mechanical parts. The employee is occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles and toxic chemicals. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
